A carport is a covered structure used to offer limited protection to vehicles, primarily cars, RVs, boats, and ATVs from rain, snow, and other precipitants such as sleet or hail. The structure can either be free-standing or attached to a wall and anchored to the ground. Unlike most structures, a carport does not have four walls, but can have up to 3 walls and still be considered a carport. Carports offer less protection and security than garages but allow for more ventilation and more versatility if you just need shade for an event at your house such as a BBQ. 

 

The carports we sell come in many different sizes and to most that can be confusing. We like to take a step back and make things simple. That is why we refer to the carport sizes in terms of cars. Everyone knows how many cars they want to keep out of harsh weather conditions.
